Gang Sheet Setup Rules
To ensure your DTF transfers come out vibrant and ready to press, please follow these strict file setup rules before uploading.
Transparent Backgrounds ONLY
Do not upload JPEGs. We require High-Res PNG files with a transparent background. Any white or colored boxes behind your images will be printed.
Exact Sizing
Your artboard must exactly match the sheet size you purchase at a minimum of 300 DPI. Do not mirror your artwork; we handle that!
No Glows or Drop Shadows
DTF printers lay down a solid white ink underbase. Semi-transparent pixels, soft drop shadows, or glowing effects will print with a harsh, speckled white halo.
Line Thickness & Spacing
Keep all fonts and line details at least 2pt (0.02") thick. Leave at least 0.25" of empty space between your designs so you can easily cut them apart.
Accepted Formats: PNG (Highly Preferred), AI, PSD, SVG, PDF or WEBP.

What is DTF Printing?
Direct-to-Film (DTF) is a transfer printing method where full color artwork is printed onto a special film, then heat pressed onto your product. The result is vibrant, soft-feel prints that work on cotton, polyester, blends, and even non-traditional surfaces like hats, tote bags, and leather.
Why DTF Over Other Methods?
Unlike screen printing, there are no color limits or setup fees. Unlike DTG, it works on polyester blends without pretreatment. The prints are thinner and softer than plastisol, and every transfer includes a white ink underbase so your graphics pop on both light and dark garments.
Transfers are shelf-stable, so you can print now and press on demand whenever you need them.

- Trimmed to your ordered size
File Requirements
- PNG files only with transparent backgrounds
- Minimum 300 DPI resolution
- Leave 1/8" safety margin on all edges
- No detail smaller than 0.02" (0.5mm)
- Gang up your designs on the artboard to maximize your sheet space
- Do not mirror your artwork. We handle that.
Pressing Guidelines
Our DTF is a cold peel film. Adjust heat, pressure, and time based on your machine and material. These are general starting points:
- Pressure: 35-50 PSI
- Pre-Press: 5-7 sec (until moisture is gone)
- Press: 290-320°F for 10-20 sec
- Post-Press: 5-7 sec with a teflon sheet
